We believe in fostering innovation and collaboration. However, unauthorized automated access, scraping, or data collection is prohibited. Without prior written permission, you may NOT:

• Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, spiders, or any automated tools to access, collect, extract, or harvest data from our Services
• Scrape user profiles, event data, community information, or any other content for advertising, marketing, or commercial purposes
• Build or populate databases, datasets, or machine learning models using data collected from our Services
• Use our data to create competing services, products, or derivative works
• Aggregate, republish, or redistribute our content on third-party platforms
• Bypass, circumvent, or disable any access control measures, rate-limiting, CAPTCHA, or security features
• Use headless browsers, browser automation tools, or any technology to simulate human interaction for data collection
• Collect personal data (emails, names, contact information) for spam, unsolicited marketing, or advertising

3.2 Illegal or Harmful Activities

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code or harmful content
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users or individuals
• Post false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent information
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers/networks connected to the Services

3.3 Spam and Unsolicited Communications

• Send spam, unsolicited advertisements, or promotional materials
• Conduct commercial activities without our written permission
• Use the Services for multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes

3.4 Data Misuse

• Use data obtained from our Services for purposes other than attending events or participating in communities

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post, upload, or submit ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display your User Content in connection with operating and providing the Services.

4.2 Content Standards

You agree that your User Content will NOT:

• Contain illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or offensive material
• Violate any third-party rights or intellectual property
• Contain false or misleading information
• Promote discrimination, hate speech, or violence
• Contain explicit sexual content or material harmful to minors

4.3 Monitoring and Removal

We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to monitor, review, and remove User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, at our sole discretion.

5.1 Our Rights

All content, features, functionality, design, trademarks, logos, and software on our Services are owned by North Star AGI vzw or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our Services for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

5.3 Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, reproduce, or create derivative works from our Services
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without written permission

8.1 "AS IS" Basis

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8.2 No Guarantee

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on our Services.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NORTH STAR AGI VZW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8.4 Event Attendance

We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or conduct of events listed on our platform. Users attend events at their own risk. Event organizers are solely responsible for their events.

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

11.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Antwerp, Belgium.

11.3 Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us first.

13.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and North Star AGI vzw regarding the Services.

13.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

13.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

13.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
